The great thing about DE safety razors is that double-edge replacement blades can be picked up in a lot places and cheaply. Once you have landed in your destination, look for the nearest pharmacy and purchase some blades there.

How Can I Protect My Razor When Travelling?

When you're travelling with a safety razor, it's important to make sure it doesn't get damaged. Make sure there is no blade within the razor and use a case or strong travel bag to protect it. This will allow you take it with you in your carry-on baggage, so it doesn't take too many bumps in your hold luggage.

If you do place your safety razor in your hold luggage, use a case or something similar so that it doesn't break under the weight.

Many international supermarkets stock safety razor blades for people who are 18 or above. Make sure your take proof of age with you if purchasing blades.
